Who we are looking for

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong fundamentals in applied data science for a business setting and who shall enjoy evangelizing data science solutions to business stakeholders. This will be a customer facing role.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Interact directly with customers to design and develop machine learning applications and solutions based on the RapidCanvas platform
  • Conduct and manage data science projects with customer’s vision of success in mind in collaboration with their data science teams
  • Build a long-term trusted relationship with the customer so that the customers can be led towards success
  • Understand and empathize with customers’ pain points of building AI solutions
  • Solve various problems for clients, making an impact across unlimited domains and industries (Agriculture, Banking, Insurance, Finance, Health, e-commerce, Marketing, Oil & Gas etc.)
  • Be the face of the company and our AI/ML expertise, directly interfacing with our partners around the globe (together with sales team)
  • Understand the market horizon for innovations in data science and utilize those to solve customer problems
  • Become an expert on the RapidCanvas platform and associated tools to teach, enable and support our customers in building their own applications.
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Engineers, Product, to design customer’s solutions
  • You will be working in a fast-paced environment alongside accomplished engineering, product and data science team members.

Key Skills Required

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in solving complex data problems using Machine learning, Big Data solutions
  • Experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning applications (regression and classification, supervised and unsupervised learning)
  • Experience in applied generative AI
  • Strong mathematical background (linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics)
  • Strong coding experience in Python.
  • Experience in data mining, machine-learning and operations research
  • Good experience in demand forecasting, inventory optimization/ management, fraud detection, churn prediction
  • Customer-facing experience and excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to lead a project and work both individually and in a team.
  • Proven experience in translating business challenges into data pipelines & model framework
  • Strong written and spoken English language skill 
  • While the role is remote, candidate is expected to travel 30% of the time for customer meeting
  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred
