MMA Workforce Solutions Summit

RapidCanvas will be attending the MMA Workforce Solutions Summit, August 27 at FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, MI, where Scott Staunton will connect with Michigan manufacturers on the workforce pressures reshaping the plant floor.

Hosted by the Michigan Manufacturers Association, the summit brings together manufacturers, workforce experts, educators, and community partners to explore how employers can develop resilient talent pipelines, cultivate collaborative networks, and support a thriving workforce ecosystem. The program spans talent attraction, development, and retention, industry-education partnerships and credentialing, internal development and succession planning, and how AI fits alongside human-centered leadership.

That last point is where we spend our time. The manufacturers we talk to are rarely short on ideas. They are short on people, and the teams they do have are stretched across work that never gets easier. We would love to compare notes on where AI genuinely takes load off a stretched team, and where it just adds another system to maintain.
