Smart City Expo Miami 2026
RapidCanvas will be attending Smart City Expo Miami 2026, October 5-6 at Miami Dade College's Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami, FL.
Produced by Smart Cities Americas, it is the seventh edition of the event and the leading U.S. platform for smart city dialogue, built this year around the theme “Urban Intelligence for a Regenerative Future.” It brings together government officials, urban planners, technology leaders, investors, and academics from more than 50 countries, with a program that runs across mobility, resilience, infrastructure, governance, and sustainability, anchored by real-world case studies and a dedicated AI Summit.
The urban intelligence and AI conversations are where we spend our time. Cities sit on enormous amounts of data (transit and traffic, sensors, permits, service requests, utilities), and most of the gap between collecting it and using it is work that never quite gets prioritized: making sense of messy records across departments, spotting a problem like flooding or congestion early, getting resources where they are needed while it still matters. We would like to hear where that pinches most for you, and where AI genuinely takes the load off versus adding one more system for a stretched public team to maintain.
